Fort Bragg has three water sources:
Water shortages in the past occurred low river flows coincide at the end of summer, early fall. Conservation program over the last ten years has provided indirectly 150 million gallons a year. State has recently indicated that Fort Bragg can draw a greater amount of water from the Noyo at high tides. Previously we had to base our draw on the amount of Noyo water bypass. Fort Bragg uses 250 - 275 million gallons of water a year
